Art Alliance Austin is a member powered organization that promotes and funds visual art by supporting local art institutions and artists. It also commissions public art, hosts an annual international architecture competition, and produces a myriad of events that bring artists and collectors together while generating economic benefit for the entire city.
Assistance League of Austin , an all volunteer philanthropic organization, operates an upscale THRIFT HOUSE at 4901 Burnet Rd to support its community based innovative programs with Caring and Commitment. These programs provide students in need with a wardrobe of new clothes, seniors an opportunity for a day out, sick and injured children with toys and books at Dell Children’ s Medical Center, scholars a chance to improve their lives and assault survivors with necessary clothing items to help restore their dignity.
Austin Bat Cave is a non-profit organization (501c3) that provides children and teenagers (ages 6 - 18) with opportunities to develop their creative and expository writing. We connect a diverse population of young writers and learners with a vibrant community of adult volunteers in Austin, and all of our programs are free.

Blue Dog Rescue's Mission is to reduce the number of dogs euthanized in our community by providing for the care and adoption of animals in need in addition to spay/neuter education, outreach, and advocacy.
Boys and Girls Club of Austin is Austin's leading youth development agency, providing programs and services for 10,000 kids from families with limited resources. 57% of Club Alumni say the Club "saved my life." 86 cents of every dollar goes directly to the kids. Cancer Connection is a volunteer-based organization that was founded in 2004. The organization is currently comprised of 325 individuals who have experienced cancer first hand either as survivors or care givers for loved ones with cancer. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors and their families. We serve as mentors for those currently facing a similar situation in the form of a one-on-one match or brief visits to patients at oncology centers and Austin area hospitals. We believe our cancer experience makes us uniquely qualified to offer support, encouragement, and hope to others.
Capital Area Food Bank of Central Texas provides food and grocery products to more than 350 Partner Agencies in 21 Central Texas counties, with a mission to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger.
Caritas provides a service continuum for those experiencing poverty that begins with a safety net and links them to resources to achieve self-sufficiency.
Classical Guitar Alive is an Austin-based non-profit organization that reaches over one million people each week. Its two main projects are the production and distribution of an internationally-broadcast public radio program, "Classical Guitar Alive," which currently airs each week on over 250 radio stations in the US and abroad. It also hosts a community outreach program which presents classical music performances at no cost to audiences in hospitals, hospices, children's shelters, and more.
Cooking Up English uses cooking as a tool to teach English. The program is intended for adults learning English as a second language. Weekly classes, conversation partners, and simple challenges encourage our students to practice what they learn in class.

Manos de Cristo is committed to empowering low-income individuals by promoting dignity and self-reliance. Manos provides comprehensive oral healthcare, hosts a wide range of adult education classes, houses a food pantry, a clothes closet, and two computer labs, and runs an annual Back-to-School program for children returning to school. Through these programs, Manos improves the quality of life for over 10,000 people each year.
Meals on Wheels and More delivers daily meals to nearly 2,500 homebound and disabled persons with the help of 5,000 volunteers and runs many additional programs designed to keep our clients healthy and living independently.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is fighting every minute of every day to finally, once and for all, finish what we started and achieve our vision of a world without breast cancer. The Austin Affiliate has invested nearly $7 Million in community breast health programs since inception in 1999.
Symphony of Soul brings live music or "musical medicine" to people in need. Dedicated to lifting the spirits of people facing challenging circumstances, we bring live music to convalescent homes, hospitals, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, psychiatric facilities, and various other shelters. Artists are paid a stipend for each performance.
The Arc of the Capital Area is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing personalized, community-based services that improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.
The Homeless Coach exists to "ssensselemoH"...to reverse Homelessness. It does so by connecting the homeless with local and web communities via live, interactive streaming of shared Austin-original experiences within and around the safety and luxury of a mobile recreational vehicle.

Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas helps low-income clients access the civil justice system by providing volunteer attorneys who donate free legal advice and representation, and by supporting and training those attorneys. We ensure poverty is not a barrier to justice.
